                Water wisdom 
                Good water management is all about decentralisation. Since rain is decentralised. Even
                when the Narmada Dam comes through there will still be a need for small water harvesting
                structures in Gujarat. This state like Andhra Pradesh has launched a crash programme to
                harvest rain, following the monsoon failure of 1999-2000. An appreciable shift from the
                policy of pursuing high-cost, high technology solutions and ignoring the fact that
