In February this year, CSE released a study on pesticide residues in bottled water. Readers wrote in asking if the same was true for cold drinks. Yes, but this time the stakes are higher. Tests carried out by the Pollution Monitoring Laboratory found deadly insecticides in twelve leading brands of cold drinks. And in India, they can get away with this.
