TO CSE FRIENDS
****************
Last fortnight, we had written about developments since the
release of our study on soft drinks and pesticides. We would like to thank all our friends
for the numerous messages and important references and links to information on standards
and pesticide related regulations on food and beverages from across the world. As we
mentioned earlier, the Joint Parliamentary Committee will now be reviewing these issues as
well.
Simultaneously, we are working on
studies on water quality standards and pesticide policies. We hope this month to have
these papers ready so that we can begin further consultations on these issues.
We will definitely keep you informed of developments
and as always, we need your support and help.
