How does an educator make
Environment Education 'relevant' for students, in classrooms or at home? In order to help
you make children more environmentally aware and decisive, and also make teaching more
stimulating and interesting, we at CSE are developing this bimonthly newsletter which
comes to you packed with material on contemporary environmental issues. |
|
As a
member of G:NET, the Gobar Times Environment Educators' Network, you will get this FREE
bimonthly. Just become a member by filling in the form below.
The G:NET newsletters will analyse burning environmental issues in the media, and provide
you with:

two months
2. Activities connected with these issues to do in class and home
3. Photocopiable worksheets for students to work on
4. Curriculum links that tell you how the issue can be incorporated into the subject you
teach
5. A glossary of difficult terms
6.List of relevant weblinks that you and your students may like to visit to learn more on
the subject
7. A bibliography for further readings |

|
We would
be glad to hear from you about any EE efforts you have been involved in. There will be a
contributors' section so that members of the network can interact and learn from each
other.
As a member of G:NET, you get a 10% discount on all CSEpublications, invitations to
countrywide CSE events and a fortnightly electronic bulletin. Plus if you subscribe to
