Explore….www.fluoridealert.org

This is the official website of Flouride Action Network (FAN), an International voluntary group. In 2000, it came into existence to not only create awareness about the risks posed by flouride to humans, economy and ecology but also to work out preventive strategies. FAN is working in collaboration with six regional partners. This site is a collection of rich data base in form of research papers, web links and latest happenings from the world as a whole. It provides intensive information on the role of selected five industries in spreading flouride pollution. A comprehensive list of videos on the issue is also available. Surf this site to know more and to join the fight against flouride.

Articulating solutions

The third World Water Forum (WWF) is being organised to discuss "WHO needs to do WHAT, HOW and WHEN? rather than "what needs to be done?" Carrying forward the spirit of second WWF, third WWF is open to all stakeholders. Kyota, Shiga and Osaka in Japan are hosting the meet from March 16 to 23, 2003 (For details: www.worldwaterforum.org). Regional days for Africa, Asia and Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and the Americas will focus on local issues, while linking them at the global level. A dialogue between attending ministers and participants is also scheduled for March 21. 'Mizu-En', the water fair and festival, signifying the relationship of water with art, culture, civilisation, industry will enchant every participant.

Can you suggest some solutions, which forum can deliberate on?
