Rainwater Harvesting System
The surface and rooftop runoff is recharged to the sub soil using recharge wells with collection chambers. The structures were constructed at sites where water tended to stagnate after rains.
The rainwater harvesting structure was completed at a cost of Rs 25,000.
Impact: There has been an improvement in the groundwater quality.
