The rainwater from the society is collected and diverted into a percolation pit. The pit is measuring 2.1m x 2.1m x 3m with open jointed brick masonary wall. The layers of bricks, metals and sand are used to filter the water before it is recharged into the sub soil strata.
The rainwater harvesting system was completed in the year 2005 at a cost of Rs. 0.25 lakh.
Impact:There has been an improvement in the yield of bore well water and due to increased water availability the greenery has increased.

Impact: There has been a control on flooding and fresh water supplied by B.M.C. has been saved which can be served to 300 families to meet their for potable requirements.
Impact:The project was completed in 2006 with a cost of Rs 3.5 lakhs.

Rainwater Harvesting System
The runoff collected from the society is stored in 2 tanks with a total capacity of 11,250 litres. The stored water is used for gardening purpose in the society. A recharge pit is used for recharging the remaining water. The pit is provided with two bore wells.
The project was completed in 2006.
Impact:There has been an improvement in the bore well water level.

Rainwater Harvesting System
The runoff collected from the campus is collected and stored in 5 storage tanks. The total capasity of these storage tanks is apx. capacity 50000 litres. The harvested water is used for secondary purpose. The ground is recharged by a recharge pit and five bore wells of 38 m depth.
The project was completed in 2006. The cost of projects implementation was Rs. 3.0 lakhs.
Impact:There has been an improvement in the bore well water level.

Rainwater Harvesting System
The runoff collected from the campus collected and stored in 3 storage tanks. The harvested water is used for secondary purpose. The total storage capacity of the tanks is 23,140 litres. There is also a recharge well with three recharge bore wells to facilitate ground water recharge.
The cost of projects implementation was Rs. 1.75 lakhs. The project was completed in 2006.

The project was completed in 2006. The cost of projects implementation was Rs. 1.0 lakhs.

The rooftop rainwater is collected from the tower and stored in a storage tank and used for secondary purposes. The capacity of the tank is 31,200 litres. There is also a recharge well with three recharge bore wells to facilitate ground water recharge.
The project was completed in 2006 with an approximate cost of Rs. 0.75 lakhs

The project was completed in 2006. The cost of projects implementation was Rs. 1.5 lakhs.
Impact: Reduced water requirements from municipal supply and improved yield of the bore well.
