Q. My daughter is in sixth standard. She has to submit a project on environment. She needs some slogans/statements on environment. Can you provide me few slogans/statements on environment and conservation.

A. On Delhi Ridge:
1. Green Oasis in Peril.
2. Help! Help! Is one slogan that would be used commonly by the trees in the Ridge if they would be able to speak our language.

B. On Plastics.
1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
2. Mummy Coloured recycled plastic bags are harmful. The pigments used for colouring them are poisonous. They contaminate food and spread diseases. So please say “no” to plastic bags. For our family’s sake.
3. Sure, it comes free. But often at the cost of your family’s health.
4.Say “no”  to plastic bags, “yes”  to cloth, Jute and Paper bags.

C. On Water harvesting
1. Catch Water Where It Falls

1. Our Earth Our Future!  Just Save It!
2. Treat It Gently. There is Only One like this. Have a Happy Future!

Q. I am interested in information concerning current environmental crisis in India and abroad . Pl. inform me about organizations in Bangalore which could assist me in this. I would like to use this information for use in my classs room.
