Q. What are the various databases available at CSE?
A. At CSE we have a database maintenance system known as Resource Persons Information System Database (RPDB). This database is a huge collection of 28000 records based upon environment and related contacts. This database is unique in terms of its collection of full contact information of 14000 different organizations. This information is being continuously updated whenever a change takes place with contact information we have.

Apart from above, we also have a database system called LIBSYS for the books and journals.

Q. How to subscribe for CSE mailing list? Or how can I contact the database team at CSE?
A. To subscribe for CSE mailing list, send an email to database@cseindia.org .One can also send a letter to ASSISTANT CO-ORDINATOR, DATABASE SECTION with his full contact details including telephone, fax and email address.

Q. How can I subscribe for the CSE’s Newsletter?
A. To subscribe for CSE’s newsletters you can send an email to database@cseindia.org or we have a form in the relevant campaign sections. Or send a letter to ASSISTANT CO-ORDINATOR, DATABASE SECTION.

Q. How can I get your specialised database? How can I order for your Database?
A. This database is only meant for the information dissemination for the benefit of the society. If you are looking for our specialized databases then you have to send your request to database@cseindia.org and after going through your requirement, it can be made available to you by paying for the processing fee.

Q. Is any CD of your specialized databases is available?
A. As such CD is not available but we can provide the databases in other formats like excel, word and access. Soon we will come up with CD version of all the specialized databases.

Q. How can I get the contact information about individuals and organizations working in the field of environment from your database?
A. For the information regarding individuals or about organizations you can directly call us at CSE or mail your queries to us at database@cseindia.org .
