to subscribe to the fortnightly newsmagazine “Down To Earth”?
A.
You can
subscribe to Down To Earth by remitting the subscription to us favouring Society For
Environmental Communications, New Delhi. The remittance can be made by cash/cheque/Demand
draft/Credit card. Please add Rs. 50.00 as bank charges for out station non-Delhi cheques.
For credit card payment please include the credit card no. expiry date of Credit card and
signature of Credit card holder in the order. You can send the order through credit card
by Post or fax us the same. Our fax no. is 91-11-608 5879. This is applicable only in
India. 
For Foreign Orders please pay by Bank Transfer or by Credit card only. Do not send cheque
or Demand draft. Our Bank Account details are given below:

Q. When will my subscription start?
A. Your subscription will be activated within 15 days of receiving the
remittance by us. You would be allotted a code and informed about it with the
payment receipt within 15 days of receiving the subscription amount by us.
Q. When will I receive the magazine?
A. We deliver the magazine through Postal Department. The magazine has two
issues in a month i.e on 15th of the month and on last date of the month. The issue
published on 15th of the month will be despatched on 2-3 day and issue published on last
date of the month will be despatched on 16-17 day of the month. Normally it take 3-7
days to reach your address.
The magazine
contains Volume No. and issue no. The volume no changes with the issue of 31st May every
Year. The present Volume No is 10. The first issue no. starts with the magazine dated 31st
May every year and the magazine has 24 issues in each Volume.
Q. When can I
expect my missing issues ?
A. We
try our best to ensure that such incidences do not occur. But in case it happens, then the
missing issues are to be informed to us within a reasonable period of three months and
they will be sent to you. There after missing issues will be sent only if the respective
issue is available in our stock.
Q. When can I
expect to get my gift.
A.
The gift will be sent to you by courier/Regd Post a month after your
subscription has started.
